Our
Story

Botswana Farmers Association was formed on the basis of elevating the status of small holder farmers in Botswana. It was formulated with the emphasis being on capacity building and strengthening of small commodities . 

The premise of the launch of the association was the lack of Botswana being active across its regional counterparts. Perhaps alarming where the dire predicaments at which Batswana farmers are facing.

Afford a opportunity for farmers to promote their commodities across borders and build strategic network relationships.

Adoption of specific laws that encourage youth, women and vulnerable people into agribusiness and support the sustainability of youth and women-owned businesses.

Collaborate with training institutions in sector specifics general business management services as well as engage with the government and its main drive in agriculture.

Increase lobbying efforts through, regional bodies/ international bodies and enable better reporting for issues pertaining to trade, standards, better farming mechanism and other related issues. .
